Parents and pupils expectations

Kariba Antz Academy

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we continue to strive for excellence in education, we would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the expectations for students and parents at Kariba Antz Academy. Your cooperation and support are essential in ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded education in a safe and respectful environment.

Student Expectations

1. Dress Code: Students are expected to wear the prescribed school uniform. Any deviations from the uniform will not be tolerated.
2. Homework: Students are expected to complete all assigned homework tasks on time. Parents are encouraged to monitor their child’s homework and communicate with teachers if there are any concerns.
3. Sport and Extracurricular Activities: Students are expected to participate in at least one sport or extracurricular activity per term. This helps to promote physical and mental well-being, as well as teamwork and social skills. This is compulsory for every learner.
4. Attendance and Punctuality: Students are expected to attend school regularly and arrive on time. Any absences or late arrivals must be justified with a valid reason and supporting documentation.
5. Respect and Greeting: Students are expected to show respect to all members of the school community, including teachers, staff, and fellow students. This includes greeting teachers, parents and staff members politely and using respectful language at all times.

Parent Expectations

1. Timely Payment of Fees: Parents are expected to pay school fees on time. Any late payments may incur penalties and disrupt the learning process for your child.
2. Communication: Parents are encouraged to maintain open communication with teachers and staff members. This includes attending parent-teacher conferences, responding to emails and phone calls, and keeping the school informed of any changes in contact information or other relevant details.
3. Supporting School Rules and Policies: Parents are expected to support the school’s rules and policies, including those related to discipline, attendance, and academic integrity.
4. Volunteering: Parents are encouraged to volunteer their time and skills to support the school’s activities and events.
